Eleftherios Klerides

Associate Professor in Comparative Education and History of Education, President of the Comparative Education Society in Europe (CESE), President of European Baccalaureate and the Co-Editor of the international journal European Education. He is also a Honorary Research Fellow of North-West University, South Africa.

His studies include an MA and a Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education (UCL Institute of Education, London). Before joining the University of Cyprus he worked at the UCL Institute of Education (UK), the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research (Germany), the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) and the European University of Cyprus. He also worked as visiting professor at the Collège de France in Paris and as a consultant for the World Bank and UNESCO.
