Marcela Ñañez

From Colombia

Marcela Nañez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the National University of Colombia. After completing her studies, she gained professional experience in the public sector as a policy coordinator and consultant, and in the education sector as a qualitative research analyst for HEI’s. She currently collaborates with the Human Sciences Research Council of South Africa in a multi-country project on youth well-being, serving as Colombia’s representative on the Youth Steering Committee. Her research interests focus on the intersection of gender inequalities, care systems, and educational equity in Latin America, particularly from a public policy perspective.
