Josephine Amelia Halberg

From Denmark

Josephine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen, where she explored how education, culture, and politics shape youth trajectories in Serbia and Denmark. Her fieldwork in Serbia sparked a lasting interest in how educational policies and political structures influence young people’s opportunities. This interest grew through teaching experience in formal and non-formal education in Denmark, Romania, and Slovakia, and as a student assistant in a Danish NGO supporting youth participation and international development. Teaching digital literacy to migrant women further deepened her interest in social dimensions of education and strengthened her commitment to understanding how learning environments can be more inclusive.
