Diana Makedon

From Ukraine

Diana Makedon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ukraine. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of migration, civil society, volunteering, education in conflict-affected contexts, and post-conflict education. She has engaged in various international and research-oriented initiatives, including an academic exchange at Justus Liebig University Giessen and active participation in the Invisible University for Ukraine program, where she previously conducted research on Ukrainian migrant activism. Her experience includes academic research, teaching and mentoring, coordinating and co-organizing educational and social projects, and promoting Ukrainian volunteer initiatives through fundraising and community engagement.
