EDUCATION FOR GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT TRENDS FOR THE POST 2015 AGENDA

II GLOBED SUMMER SCHOOL 2014

25th-26th September 2014

Interested students (third year BA, Master or graduated) and practitioners working in the education for development field are welcome to join this free two-day intensive Summer School at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a joint initiative of the GLOBED European project that includes the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the University of Oslo, the University of Malta, the University of Sarajevo and the University of Amsterdam.

Participants are invited to take part in a range of interactive and engaging lectures and workshops. Course content will include discussions on the post-2015 development agenda, education and peace building policies, educational planning, and education in the Arab World, among other topics.

The GLOBED Summer School is free of fees. Interested students please send a two-page curriculum vitae before  July the 15th 2014 to Núria Vallès: nuria.valles@uab.cat

Call for Scholarships – Deadline 4th July 2014

We invite students to apply to one of the GLOBED Summer School scholarships, which will cover their traveling and accommodation costs.

To apply for a scholarship, students need to send a two-page curriculum vitae and a motivation letter (maximum 500 words) before July the 4th 2014 to nuria.valles@uab.cat

On the basis of curriculum and motivation letter there will be decided the scholarships concession.
