Since completing her Masters, Jessie has worked in a variety of frontline and policy roles in the migrant solidarity and homelessness sectors. These have included; coordinating a social space for people seeking asylum, working in a safehouse and researching childhood statelessness. She is currently based in Bristol, UK and is the Research and Policy Coordinator for the No Accommodation Network (NACCOM). Her work involves using research to present solutions to destitution and homelessness in the UK. She coordinates a Community Researchers project which trains people with lived experience of destitution in research skills and enables volunteers to design, undertake and present research themselves.
